Steve Bannon’s day in the sun may soon be coming to an end.
It appears that many in the elite circles are growing weary of his rabble rousing antics. Robert Mercer, who is a major player in the GOP, has decided to sell his stake in Breitbart. Many suppose that Bannon and his cronies are obstructing what could be key legislation for the GOP. But this is not the first time he’s bashed heads with the “establishment”. Bannon left his position as a “key advisor” to the president in early August and returned to Breitbart. Prior to his exit, Bannon and Reince Preibus, who seems to just reek of establishment, just could not play along. There was an obvious tug of war for influence and both of them lost. They both resigned. After Bannon’s exit, he was excited that he regained what he called his “weapons”. And it’s no secret that Bannon ultimately seeks a new order. He peddles in influence so he can realize what many see as a warped world view. He seems to believe that chaos is the best remedy for change. However, sometimes not all publicity is good publicity.
People are tired of the riots, tired of a sorry Congress, tired of political civil war, and tired of Steve Bannon. Everyone knows it’s time for change, just not Bannon’s change.
